DeleteData ( datastore customdict, string DeleteExp) return long - Syntax 2

This method delete the entries corresponding to given Delete Expression of the specified custom Data Dictionary.

It will return the number of deleted rows, zero if none where corresponding to the delete expression and -1 if an error occurs.

Example:

The code below will delete all invoice entries of the customer 156987 :

...
datastore lds_Invoices
...
if #.DeleteData( lds_Invoices, "customer_id=156987") = -1 then return -1
...
